When AFACIAL came to us in April 2026, the website ran on Tilda. It looked good, but it was not built around the searches clients in Vienna use to find a facial. There was no dedicated page for the most important search term, “Kosmetikstudio Wien” (beauty clinic Vienna) – Google only showed the home page.
Skin concerns such as acne, enlarged pores or pigmentation had no pages of their own. From July to September 2025, only 1 in 18 clicks from Google landed on a treatment page – almost 9 in 10 clicks went to the home page.
And nobody knew exactly what the website achieved: since the switch to a new booking system in autumn 2025, Google Analytics had counted visits but not a single online booking. Calls and WhatsApp messages were never tracked.
In April 2026, the website’s average position in Google was 12.4 – just off the first page. In Vienna, where many clinics compete for the same clients, that is not enough.
After · today
- New WordPress website in German and English
- 1 in 5 clicks lands on a treatment page
- 3× as many clicks on the English pages
- More than 1 in 3 online bookings comes via Google

Today afacial.at runs on WordPress: 62 pages in German and English, each treatment with prices, how it works and FAQs, and every booking button leads straight to online booking. From April to September 2026, 27 new pages were added – for treatments such as JetPeel or anti-ageing and for skin concerns such as acne, blackheads and enlarged pores.
It pays off where people book: from July to September 2026, the treatment pages received almost four times as many clicks as in the same period of 2025. Today 1 in 5 clicks from Google lands on a treatment page; a year ago it was 1 in 18. The English pages, too, bring in three times as many clicks as the year before.
In September 2026, the website’s average position in Google was 10.2, compared with 13.8 in September 2025. In searches without the clinic’s name, the website now appears far more often: 69% more impressions in September 2026 than in September 2025.
And because everything is now tracked, it is clear what the website delivers: from July to September 2026, more than one in three enquiries came via Google search – more than via any other channel. Visitors who come via Google book, call or send a message twice as often as the average across all visitors. In September 2026, more than one in three online bookings also came organically via Google. ChatGPT and Google’s AI answers name AFACIAL too when clients ask for a clinic in Vienna.

Approach
Four steps to more bookings.
Clicks are only a step along the way. What counts for us are bookings, calls and WhatsApp messages – in other words, revenue.

Search terms, competitors and a page plan by revenue potential – plus tracking of bookings, calls and WhatsApp.
Keyword strategy Page plan Tracking
Since May 2026, every booking counts.

In April 2026 we examined what clients in Vienna search for when they want to book a facial, and what the city’s strongest clinics offer. This resulted in a page plan: which treatment and which skin concern gets its own page, and in what order.
At the same time, we defined a fixed structure for every treatment page: benefits, how it works, prices, FAQs and sources. Since May 2026, online bookings, calls and WhatsApp clicks have been tracked in Google Analytics, and phone and WhatsApp sit right in the menu.
Once tracking had started, the origin of many bookings was unclear at first – from May to July 2026, the website itself was recorded as the source for 43 to 72% of bookings. We refined the tracking: in September 2026, the source of every online booking was visible.

In May 2026 we completely rewrote the three most important pages – HydraFacial, microneedling and laser facial – with FAQs, rich snippets and scientific sources. From June 2026, new pages followed one by one: JetPeel, anti-ageing, deep-cleansing facial, skin analysis, skincare for men, and dedicated pages for “Kosmetikstudio Wien” (beauty clinic Vienna) and the 3rd district.
Many clients do not search for a treatment but for their skin concern. That is why there are now pages on acne, blackheads, enlarged pores and pigmentation – and since October 2026 also on blemished, dry and tired skin. Because many clients in Vienna speak English, most pages are also available in English – and they bring in three times as many clicks as a year ago.
It is working: for “beste kosmetikstudio wien” (best beauty clinic Vienna), AFACIAL moved from position 22.4 to 7.8; for “microneedling wien kosten” (microneedling Vienna cost), from 26.7 to 9.4 – from page 3 to page 1 (avg. position, July – September 2025 and 2026).

For Google and AI assistants to trust a clinic, it needs mentions on other websites. Since July 2026, AFACIAL has been mentioned in expert articles and on other reputable sites. We reviewed and cleaned up old, low-quality links.
Since July 2026, we have checked every week whether ChatGPT and Google’s AI answers name the clinic when clients ask for a clinic in Vienna – 31 questions, none of them containing the clinic’s name. From 9 July to 7 October 2026, AFACIAL was mentioned 187 times, at an average position of 2.7, and cited as a source 162 times. That puts AFACIAL in 3rd place out of 98 clinics that ChatGPT and Google name in these answers.
AFACIAL is strongest for HydraFacial: asked (in German) “Which clinic in Vienna has good HydraFacial reviews?”, Google’s AI Mode names the clinic with 100% visibility (as of 7 Oct 2026), at an average position of 1.2 (9 Jul – 7 Oct 2026).

In September 2026 we moved the website from Tilda to WordPress and redesigned it. It has been live since 30 September 2026: 62 pages in German and English, faster, clean on every phone and easier for Google and AI search to read. Every booking button opens online booking directly in the right category.
So that nothing was lost in the move, we redirected all 181 old URLs to the new pages. Structured data for the clinic, prices and FAQs is built in, and bookings, calls and WhatsApp clicks are still tracked – only with consent.
